*DEDICATED TO RAISING ONE LOVABLE LITTER AT A TIME*
The Ragdoll is a cat of contrasts. It has the large imposing physique of a Birman, but when picked up it relaxes all its muscles to become as weak as a kitten and as floppy as the doll from which it takes its name. The Ragdoll loves to be held and demands your attention. The Ragdoll is known to be exceptionally gentle, well-balanced, lovable, intelligent, affectionate, and sweet-natured. They are generally very quiet and have soft musical voices. However, they will speak up when they have something to say. The breed does not display the independence and aloofness for which cats are generally known. Ragdolls quickly become devoted to their owners, and will easily adapt to other cats, dogs, children, and people. Many Ragdolls have been taught to walk on a leash, fetch a favorite toy, and shake hands.
In general, our Ragdolls sell for $450 for a pet quality kitten, $800 for show quality, and $1000 and up for a breeder. A pet quality kitten acquired from any serious breeder is a kitten from excellent show stock that does not quite match the standard as well as some of its litter mates. This does not mean that it is defective! Unless you have developed a breeder's or judge's eye for the breed, you are unlikely to see much difference between a "pet quality" kitten and a "top show" kitten. Mitted or BiColor kittens may he slightly mismarked with mismatched mittens or slightly uneven "V's". All pet and show quality kittens are sold with a spay/neuter agreement. You will receive the registration papers with proof of altering. If purchasing a kitten for breeding, I will need to be in touch with the breeder you have purchased/plan to purchase its mate from to make certain the cats are at least three generations removed. If you need help finding another breeder, I will he happy to suggest someone I know will have a top quality, compatible kitten for you.
We treat our cats as part of the family. Mom and Dad can not be with us at the same time (we only want two litters per year), but neither is caged, and both get equal amounts of time playing with the kids and napping on the couch. The kittens begin their socialization process from very early on, and by the time they are three weeks old, they come to us as fast as they can move. At four weeks they begin to use the litter box and explore their room. By five weeks they are really getting brave. And from six weeks, until the time they go to their new homes, the kittens have our entire home to conquer. This socialization process helps to ensure each kitten measures up to the RagdoU reputation. However, each has a unique personality and this must be considered when choosing a kitten. We highly recommend that you discuss your situation and your family with us so that the most suitable kitten way be found.
We feel confident that should you decide to purchase one of our kittens you will he satisfied. We guarantee the health of our kittens and offer delivery assistance or shipping. If you would like to reserve a kitten, we request a $50 deposit. The deposit is refundable unless additional advertising is required to sell the kitten you reserved. If you have any questions please feel free to call, write, or email anytime.
