Thank you for your interest in Ragdoll International. We are a group of dedicated Ragdoll breeders with a high set of standards, morals, and integrity. We have joined together for the purpose of enjoying and learning the art of Ragdoll breeding. We will strive toward breeding HEALTHY, HAPPY, and WELL SOCIALIZED kittens and cats.
We are interested in the sharing of ideas, learning experiences, and problems. We want to be a group that support each other, and deal with each other and our customers with respect and honesty. Ragdoll International will not be a dictatorship, or a policing organization. We will not invade the privacy of your cattery business. We WILL discuss all aspects of breeding, however each member will be left to decide for themselves which suggestions will work for them.
We will be a progressive club, and listen to all new ideas and suggestions from our members. We will talk about things in an open and friendly way, without fear of prosecution, or ridicule. Members can submit ideas of subjects to the president, who will in turn open them up to the membership for discussion and a vote as needed.
Our club will follow all TICA rules and guidelines. We will encourage people to be as active in TICA as they can possibly be, showing when ever possible.
The Ragdoll International will publish a regular newsletter, designed to keep our members well informed. We will use the newsletter as a way to share our knowledge with each other, and to ask for help with any problems should they arise. We hope everyone will contribute to the letter, with information pertaining to their experiences, questions they have, and pass on any new information they have learned about cats and cat breeding in general.
Hopefully, with the help, dedication, and input of all the members, we can gain as much knowledge as possible about our beloved breed, and to be as respected in the show ring as any other breed. It will take an effort from all of us to do this. We must work together, not against each other. If the popularity of the Ragdoll is to continue, it will be up to us to keep our standards high, and deal ethically with people. We must be united in our effort to do what is right for the Ragdoll as a breed.
To join R.I. must be a Ragdoll breeder, being a member of TICA if preferred, but not necessary especially for the people not in the USA or Canada, and have your application be approved by the membership as a whole. If you are interested in joining our club, and interested in working and cooperating together to improve our cats, then please fill out the information sheet, and submit it for a membership vote.
